COMP0034 Lab sessions

Use the lab sessions to make progress on your coursework.

PGTAs and the course tutor will be available in each session to provide support and guidance.

The following is only a rough guide as it will depend on how you approach the coursework as to what you will do in each session.

Weeks 1 to 5: Coursework 1 (REST API)

• Week 1: Create coursework repo, basic Flask app config.
• Week 2: Model classes. Database creation.
• Week 3: Add routes.
• Week 4: Complete routes. Start tests.
• Week 5: Final testing.

Weeks 6 to 10: Coursework 2 (Web app)

This is generic and will vary depending on the type of app.

• Week 6: Create coursework repo, basic app config
• Week 7: Add styling / layout.
• Week 8: Start app features.
• Week 9: Finish app features. Start tests.
• Week 10: Final testing.
